Behavior/Consequences/Rewards
Each student will have  a set of colored cards in the behavior chart.  The sets are
marked with numbers instead of names to help the students maintain privacy
when guests are in the room.  The cards will be turned in the following order: blue,
green, yellow, pink, black.  Students will begin each day on blue.

Consequences
Blue - Great day! Earn two Crew Bucks.
Green - Warning!  Earn one Crew Buck.
Yellow - 10 minutes off recess, Earns 0 Crew Bucks.
Pink - All of recess is lost,  Parent note/phone call
Black - Write up(office referral)

Rewards
Students earn classroom money with good behavior.  This money is called Crew Bucks in order to
match our racing theme.  Every six to seven weeks students will have the opportunity to spend
their Crew Bucks in our classroom store, The Pit Stop.  The Pit Stop consists of coupons which can
be redeemed with the teacher along with various other "prizes."  At the beginning of the year I
give the students the opportunity to determine the coupons they would like for me to make
available for purchase.  In the past students have chosen coupons for sitting at the teacher's desk,
show and tell, treat jar, extra recess, and buddy lunch just to name a few.  The coupons will  vary
in price and I will try to post that information when it becomes available.

Other items in the Pit Stop include snacks and drinks and various prize items.  I am always in
need of Pit Stop items so please feel free to donate items if you'd like.

Please visit the Parent Vols link to find out how you can help with
The Pit Stop!
