HOMEWORKOPOLY
Purpose: Homeworkopoly is a fun way to encourage
children to do their homework!

How to Play:
*Students will move their game tokens around the board. (Tokens
will be pictures of each student's face attached with Sticky Tac.)

*Students must complete and turn in all homework assignments on
time for the entire week. (Monday through Thursday)

*Good effort must be made on all homework assignments, including
penmanship.

*Absences: Only excused absences and excused early checkouts will
be exempt from making up homework assignments.  The assignments
are posted on our website every Sunday night.  You may work on
them as you please.

*Students meeting the above requirements will have the chance to
play every Friday. (If you check out on Friday you will forfeit your
turn for the week..)

Special Spaces:
*Chance - When landing on the question mark students will draw a
Chance Card.  These are the rewards for Chance Cards:
    -sit at the teacher's desk
    -chew gum
    -free pencil
    -bathroom pass
    -sit next to Mrs. Copeland at lunch
    -use chair cushions for a day
    -use an erasable pen for a day
    -no morning work
    -make a necklace or bracelet

*Community Lunchbox - When landing on the lunchbox students will
draw a Community Lunchbox Card.  These are the rewards for
Lunchbox Cards:
    -use teacher's chair at desk
    -buddy lunch
    -earn a treat for everyone
    -take a class game home for the night
    -read to a first grader
    -teach the class for 15 minutes
    -sit anywhere in the room for a day
    -be a helper in a kindergarten classroom

Other Rewards:
*Game Spot - Choose a math game for the class to play. (includes
exploring with maniputlatives)
*Pass Go - earn 2 Crew Bucks
*On the Bus -
*Library - Read poetry or jokes to the class.
*Free Homework - earns a no homework coupon for one subject
*Mystery Prize - Surprise!!

Donations of the following items
throughout the year would be greatly

*joke books and/or poetry books
*beads and string for boys and girls
(Wal-Mart craft section)
*gum (Students always like the bubble gum
sold in
tubs at Sam's)
